In this series, we want to take significant steps to understand how to know God better. We want to try new, everyday things to help get to know and connect with God. The kind of things that will make our relationship with God a part of our everyday lives and help us grow a faith that goes with us everywhere and into everything. The more we connect to God, listen to God, talk to God, talk about God, and worship God, the more we’ll grow into a person with an everyday kind of faith.

THIS WEEK’S BOTTOM LINE: 
We can hear from God through Scripture every day.

Ask the group to…

1. Rate on a scale of 1 to 10: How good of a listener would you say you are?
2. Yes or No: Can listening to someone else help you connect with them? 
3. Explain what you think it means to listen to God? 
4. Go around the table allowing each person to share one way God speaks to us?
5. Raise your hand if you think listening to God through Scripture is challenging? Why 
   or why not? 
6. Share how you think the Bible can connect you to God?
7. How can listening to God’s voice in the Bible impact:
   - Your thoughts?
   - Your choices?
   - Your relationships?
   - Your faith? 
8. Each person create a good game plan for you to start reading and listening to God’s voice in Scripture. Share with your group.

    this series.

    everyday this week to get to know and connect with God more.
